Stepping Down Board Members, Thank You!

Alumni,

The first round of board terms have come to an end and the election process for the 2019 board of directors has been confirmed and available seats filled.

The National Alumni Association of the Cincinnati School for Creative and Performing Arts (NAAcSCPA) would like to thank Semion Androne, Kathleen Riemenschneider, Michael Inman, Kelli Starks-Harris, and  Douglas Ball for their hard work, dedication, talent, and time they contributed to our association by serving on our first Alumni Board of Directors.

These people aided our association in so many ways but have also contributed to our board becoming the most diverse organization with ties to SCPA in race, gender and generational representation. For that we are thankful and we hope they will continue to connect and serve our Alumni Association and it’s mission.

Thanks for Attending Alumni Day 2018!

SCPA Alumni – An Adam Experiment

An Off-Broadway production that I am bringing to the Aronoff Theater in celebration of Black History Month called, “An Adam Experiment.” With my heartfelt goal to work to bring the Cincinnati community together in empowering ways, “An Adam Experiment” is a one-man play that explores a day in thelife of Adam Clayton Powell, Jr., a pioneering crusader for justice during theCivil Rights movement and member of the U.S. House of Representatives. Known as the “Prince of Harlem,” Adam Clayton Powell, Jr. remains to be the only African American Congressman who has passed the most legislation on behalf of Civil Rights, education and more. “An Adam Experiment” touches on Adam’s fight for equality for African Americans as well as struggles in his personal life.
