“The image of the starving artist is not something the educators at Cincinnati’s leading arts magnet school want to leave with their students. So leaders at the School for the Creative and Performing Arts are incorporating some real-world lessons into the curriculum.
The school has launched a “Making a Living in the Arts” program that will call on the business savvy of Cincinnati Opera’s Evans Mirageas and others to guide students who have gifts for making music and art to also make money while doing it.”
