3rd GRADERS BECOME WAX FIGURES FOR BLACK HISTORY MONTH!
|
|
SCPA 3rd Graders got to learn about black history up-close and personal with their peers this past February when their peers became the historical black figures themselves. Each student in the 3rd grade was assigned a famous man or women in black history to portray in their wax museum. Students had to do research, learn, and write facts about their historical figure. They also got the chance to dress up as their historical black figure. The wax museum took over the entire first floor of SCPA and opened twice in one day. Once for SCPA students and staff and after school an hour prior to the high school black history show for family members and guests.
